MSCO Korea Command Video

Saturday, January 9, 2010

For those interested in what happens at my work, here's the Military Sealift Command Korea video. I usually show this video when I give our command brief. I think it does a good job of showing the many different things that we are involved with - ship support, Joint Chiefs of Staff exercises (Ulchi Freedom Guardian, Key Resolve), noncombatant evacuation operations (NEO), Korean Flag Shipping (KFS) program, anti-terrorism/force protection (ATFP), community relations, Offshore Petroleum Discharge System (OPDS) and others.

If you're having trouble viewing the video, you might want to view it directly from Youtube at:

Most of the anti-terrorism clips are from my workplace at Pier 8. Let me know what you think of the video. By the way, turn up the volume to hear the soundtrack. Until next time -- C2

Great video. I want to give a good enthusiastic cheer, but I only know Army enthusiasm. How do you say "Hooah" in Navy speak?

The Cruzers

Avram - not sure if the Navy has a "Hooah" equivalent. Must pass that deficiency on to the CNO. Hope Japan is treating you well so far.
